Who we are
Ignition Labs is a digital agency based in Toronto, Canada. This policy covers ignition-labs.studio and describes how we handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you use our contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, company or project name, and your message. Providing your name, phone, and company is optional; email and message are required to respond to you.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This data is aggregated and does not identify you by name. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page loads.
How we use your information

- To understand site usage and improve our content
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your contact details for marketing emails unless you ask to hear from us.
Where your information goes
Contact form submissions are processed and stored using Google Workspace services (including Google Sheets), which may store data on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. Google Analytics data is processed by Google. By submitting the form, you consent to this transfer and storage.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form submissions for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting project relationship, after which they are deleted. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics default retention settings.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email info@ignition-labs.studio and we will respond within 30 days. You may also withdraw consent to our handling of your information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and access to submitted information is limited to the people who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and revise the date at the top.
